What is BITSAT?
BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test) is an online entrance exam conducted by BITS Pilani for admission to its B.Tech, B.Pharm, and M.Sc programs across Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses. The 3-hour test consists of 130 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (or Biology for B.Pharm), English, and Logical Reasoning. It follows a +3/-1 marking scheme and offers an optional 12 extra questions for high-scoring candidates. BITSAT 2027: BITS Pilani says the 2027-28 admission cycle will open in December 2026 (tentative). Official BITSAT 2027 dates (registration, slot booking, hall tickets, exam sessions and admission iterations) will be published at bitsadmission.com, and this page will be updated as soon as they are announced. For reference, the 2026 exam was held on 15 – 16 April 2026 (Session 1) and 25 – 27 May 2026 (Session 2).
BITSAT 2027 Answer Key
BITS Pilani does not release any official answer key on its website. However, there are various coaching institutes that publish BITSAT answer key on their websites. The BITSAT 2027 answer key will be released by the coaching institutes a few days after the exam is over. After appearing for the BITSAT 2027 exam, you can visit this page for access to the answer keys released by the coaching institutes. The BITSAT 2027 result will be released online at bitsadmission.com. The result is available only through the official website; no other mode will be used for declaration. Candidates can view their scores immediately after completing the exam; the official moderated scores are published later through the BITSAT 2027 result.
Candidates can download their BITSAT 2027 scorecard by logging in with their application number and password. For those who have appeared in both sessions of BITSAT 2027, the best score out of the two attempts will be considered for seat allotment.

BITSAT 2027 Counselling (expected June 2027)
Counselling: expected June 2027 (dates to be announced by BITS Pilani)
BITSAT 2027 counselling will open after the Session 2 exam (expected June 2027). Qualified candidates will have to participate in the BITSAT counselling 2027 process for admission into the BE courses offered by the participating campuses. During the BITSAT 2027 counselling registration, the candidates have to submit their 12th standard marks and course and campus preferences by the deadline BITS Pilani announces. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate’s rank, preferences, category and seat availability. BITSAT 2027 seat allotment will be announced as iterations. The authorities will release the admit and waitlist after each round of BITSAT counselling 2027. Direct admissions will be available for those students who have obtained the first rank in their respective State/Central board exams, irrespective of their BITSAT 2027 Score.
