What is BITSAT?
BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test) is an online entrance exam conducted by BITS Pilani for admission to its B.Tech, B.Pharm, and M.Sc programs across Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses. The 3-hour test consists of 130 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (or Biology for B.Pharm), English, and Logical Reasoning. It follows a +3/-1 marking scheme and offers an optional 12 extra questions for high-scoring candidates. The exam is known for its adaptive difficulty, meaning questions vary in complexity based on responses. BITSAT Updates
BITSAT 2026 iteration 2 result is now available online. The list of candidates selected for admission into the BE courses offered by the participating campuses can be checked through the BITSAT 2026 iteration result at bitsadmission.com. To check the iteration, the candidates will have to log in using the required credentials. Selected candidates will have to confirm their admission by paying the required fee by July 19, 2026. If the fee is not paid, then the allotment will be cancelled. The third BITSAT 2026 iteration will be announced on July 22, 2026. All qualified candidates were able to submit their preferences and 12th standard marks for the BITSAT 2026 counselling online.
BITSAT 2026 scorecard for the Session 2 exam has been released online at bitsadmission.com. The moderated scores and ranks obtained in the entrance exam are available through the BITSAT 2026 result/scorecard. The authorities conducted the BITSAT 2026 Session 2 exam from June 22 to 26, 2026 (with an absentee slot on June 29, 2026), as a computer-based test. If the candidates have attempted both sessions, the best BITSAT 2026 score will be considered for admission. BITSAT 2026 Session 1 exam was held as a computer-based test from May 26 to 30, 2026 (with an absentee slot on June 2, 2026).

While candidates could view their scores immediately after completing the exam, the official moderated scores have now been published through the BITSAT 2026 result.

BITSAT 2026 Counselling
Counselling Date: 01 June – 30 June 2026
BITSAT 2026 counselling process has commenced. Qualified candidates will have to participate in the BITSAT counselling 2026 process for admission into the BE courses offered by the participating campuses. During the BITSAT 2026 counselling registration, the candidates have to submit their 12th standard marks and course and campus preferences until June 30, 2026. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate’s rank, preferences, category and seat availability. BITSAT 2024 seat allotment will be announced as iterations. The authorities will release the admit and waitlist after each round of BITSAT counselling 2026. Direct admissions will be available for those students who have obtained the first rank in their respective State/Central board exams, irrespective of their BITSAT 2026 Score.
