BITSAT 2025 August Updates – Complete Timeline & Key Details

1. Iteration 4 Results – August 1, 2025
Bits Pilani will publish repetition 4 seat distribution results August 1st. This round is important for candidates who have not yet been assigned seats or expect upgrading. Students must immediately log on to the BITS admission portal to check their position, download the offer letter (if assigned), and start the fee payment and document the upload process without delay.

2. Semester registration and class Commencement – 1st to 2nd August 2025
The first semester of the Bitsat 2025 admission begins on August 1, where all selected students need to complete registration formalities in their respective campuses. Orientation sessions will be held on August 1, followed by regular classes on August 2. Candidates who secure a seat in Iteration 4 should be prepared to report physically on the campus without delay.

3. Iteration 5 Results – August 8, 2025
Repetition 5 results will be announced August 8, and require upgrading in the waiting list or branch upgrade for students. If assigned, candidates should work immediately by paying the necessary fees and uploading all necessary documents. This iteration is especially important for those who missed the previous confirmation or received branches with low gesture.

4. Iteration 6 (if necessary) – August 14, 2025
If the seats remain available even after Iteration 5, the pieces can organize the sixth iteration on 14 August. This is expected to be the final consultation round for Bitsat 2025. The candidates should be careful and regularly examine the email and the BITS portal, as this round may not officially be pre-determined, but can only be active when vacant positions are present.

5. Fee payment and document verification – in August
Whether a seat is awarded in Iteration 4, 5 or 6, candidates are expected to complete the fee payment and document verification in August. Delay in submission or verification can be canceled. Be sure to follow the exact deadline mentioned in the admission offer.

BITSAT Updates

BITSAT 2025 iteration 2 result is now available online. The list of candidates selected for admission into the BE courses offered by the participating campuses can be checked through the BITSAT 2025 iteration result at bitsadmission.com. To check the iteration, the candidates will have to log in using the required credentials. Selected candidates will have to confirm their admission by paying the required fee by July 19, 2025. If the fee is not paid, then the allotment will be cancelled. The third BITSAT 2025 iteration will be announced on July 22, 2025. All qualified candidates were able to submit their preferences and 12th standard marks for the BITSAT 2025 counselling online.

BITSAT 2025 scorecard for the Session 2 exam has been released online at bitsadmission.com. The moderated scores and ranks obtained in the entrance exam are available through the BITSAT 2025 result/scorecard. The authorities conducted the BITSAT 2025 Session 2 exam from June 22 to 26, 2025 (with an absentee slot on June 29, 2025), as a computer-based test. If the candidates have attempted both sessions, the best BITSAT 2025 score will be considered for admission. BITSAT 2025 Session 1 exam was held as a computer-based test from May 26 to 30, 2025 (with an absentee slot on June 2, 2025).

BITSAT 2025 Counselling

Counselling Date: 01 June – 30 June 2025

BITSAT 2025 counselling process has commenced. Qualified candidates will have to participate in the BITSAT counselling 2025 process for admission into the BE courses offered by the participating campuses. During the BITSAT 2025 counselling registration, the candidates have to submit their 12th standard marks and course and campus preferences until June 30, 2025. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate’s rank, preferences, category and seat availability. BITSAT 2024 seat allotment will be announced as iterations. The authorities will release the admit and waitlist after each round of BITSAT counselling 2025. Direct admissions will be available for those students who have obtained the first rank in their respective State/Central board exams, irrespective of their BITSAT 2025 Score.
